In Memory of Noah Purifoy

Noah Purifoy, internationally renowned assemblage sculptor.
Visiting his bizarre museum few months ago, a place in the desert which used to be his home for the past years of his life, I found out his art of collected crap and my crappy camera just go hand in hand!!
Purifoy forms a basic Structure and overlays it with found objects. He also has an interest in nature's participation in the creative process, especially the effects of sun and rain. Changes as an integral part of life itself. Some works are see-through structures for viewing the world; some are homeless people's camps. Kirby Express is a 100-foot-long circular track filled with "train cars" made of vacuum cleaners.

Passed away in 2006, he left his ever changing weird sculptures tuck in the dessert near Joshua Tree, CA for the fascination of weird destination travellers like me :) ... I love it! And my camera too!
"I hope my work provides inspiration for a person to do today what they couldn't do yesterday, no matter what it is. " Noah Purifoy
